I often find myself driving home from the barn looking at my arms and wondering "is that a bruise or a dirt smudge?" There is really a 50% chance of either.

LOL I remember my mom being rather discouraged when she would pick me up at the barn. She just never 'got it'.... if you are going to a barn you are going to get dirty AND bruised!
ReplyDeleteOne of my friends is a nurse and works for her Dr. hubby. He hates that her hands get so dirty that they don't come clean... and pleads with her to wear gloves! But, I find that gloves just get filled with dirt, too... and fingers get just as dirty!

Sometimes I go to work in the morning and find out I have smudges on me from doing morning chores that I missed when I ran back in to "get ready". Yikes! Oh, well....
ReplyDeleteI feed the girls on the way to work and often pick hay and shavings off my clothes as I head into the building. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I love this life!
